ON AUGUST 27, 2021, THE FIRST LARGE-SCALE SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER PLANT IN UZBEKISTAN WITH A CAPACITY OF 100 MW WAS LAUNCHED IN THE KARMANA DISTRICT OF THE NAVOI REGION
On August 27, 2021, the first large-scale solar photovoltaic power plant in Uzbekistan with a capacity of 100 MW was launched in the Karmana district of the Navoi region.
In the last 4 months, the power plant produces more than 1 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per day.
Since commissioning, the power plant has generated 252 million kWh of electricity.
This plant supplies 80,000 households with electricity.
